Welcome to Rimrock Lake Resort. By booking a reservation or staying at the resort, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies help ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for all guests.

Reservations & Payments

Reservations may require a deposit or full payment at the time of booking. Rates, minimum stays, and availability may vary by season, site type, or accommodation. All rates are subject to applicable taxes and fees.

Cancellations & Changes

Cancellation and refund policies vary by season and reservation type and are provided at the time of booking. No refunds are issued for early departures, unused nights, or weather-related conditions.

Check-In & Check-Out

Check-in and check-out times are provided with your reservation confirmation. Early check-in or late check-out may be available based on availability and may include additional fees.

Resort Conduct

Guests are expected to:

Respect quiet hours and fellow guests
Keep their site or cabin clean and orderly
Supervise children and pets at all times
Follow posted rules and staff instructions

Management reserves the right to ask guests to leave for unsafe or disruptive behavior without refund.

Pets

Rimrock Lake Resort is pet-friendly. Pets must be leashed at all times and may not be left unattended. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Aggressive or disruptive pets may result in removal from the resort.

Campfires & Fire Safety

Campfires are subject to local fire restrictions and seasonal conditions. Guests must follow all posted fire rules and use designated fire areas only. Fires must never be left unattended.

Boat Launch & Moorage

Use of the boat launch and moorage is at the guest’s own risk. Guests are responsible for securing their boats and equipment and must follow all state and local boating regulations. The resort is not responsible for loss or damage to personal property.

Winter & Seasonal Conditions

Weather and seasonal conditions may affect access, amenities, or road conditions. Guests are responsible for appropriate vehicles and equipment during winter months. No refunds are issued due to weather beyond the resort’s control.

Wi-Fi & Utilities

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort but is not guaranteed due to location or demand. Enhanced high-speed Wi-Fi may be available for an additional fee. Utility interruptions may occur and are outside the resort’s control.

Liability

Outdoor recreation involves inherent risks. Rimrock Lake Resort is not responsible for personal injury, accidents, or loss or damage to personal property during your stay.

Right to Refuse Service

Rimrock Lake Resort reserves the right to refuse service to anyone violating resort rules or behaving in a manner that is unsafe or disruptive.

SMS Messaging Service

Rimrock Lake Resort (“Resort,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) offers an SMS messaging service that allows us to send you text messages related to your reservation and stay, including, for example, booking confirmations, check‑in/check‑out information, important property or safety alerts, and other service‑related notifications (the “SMS Service”). By enrolling in or otherwise using the SMS Service, you agree to these SMS terms in addition to the rest of our Terms of Service.
How You Opt In

You may consent to receive SMS messages from Rimrock Lake Resort in one or more of the following ways:

• By checking the SMS consent checkbox on our online booking page at https://booking.staylist.app/rimrock when providing your mobile phone number. The checkbox is not pre‑checked and is not required to complete a booking.

• By checking the SMS consent checkbox and providing your mobile number on our in‑person registration or digital check‑in form at the resort.

• By texting an advertised keyword (for example, “JOIN” or “LAKE”) to our designated phone number, and confirming your enrollment when prompted (double opt‑in).

In each case, you will be presented with clear language explaining that you agree to receive text messages from Rimrock Lake Resort at the number you provide, that message and data rates may apply, that message frequency may vary, and that you can reply STOP to cancel and HELP for help.

You must be the owner or authorized user of the mobile phone number you provide to us and you must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction.

Message Frequency and Types of Messages

By opting in, you agree to receive SMS messages that are primarily transactional and informational in nature, such as:

• Reservation confirmations and modifications

• Pre‑arrival and check‑in instructions

• On‑property updates (maintenance notices, safety alerts, weather or road warnings)

• Check‑out reminders and follow‑up stay information

We may also send limited promotional or informational messages related to your stays or offers from Rimrock Lake Resort only, and never from unrelated third parties. Message frequency will vary depending on your reservations and interactions with us.

Costs and Carrier Disclaimers

Message and data rates may apply to all SMS messages sent to or from your device, as determined by your mobile carrier. You are responsible for any such charges. Delivery of SMS messages is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and is not guaranteed. We are not liable for any delays, failures, or mis‑deliveries of any SMS messages.

5. How to Opt Out

You may opt out of the SMS Service at any time:

• Reply STOP to any message you receive from us to cancel.

• You may also contact us using the contact information in these Terms or on our website and request removal from our SMS list.

After you send STOP, we may send a one‑time confirmation message to let you know you have been unsubscribed. No further SMS messages will be sent to your mobile number unless you subsequently opt in again.

6. Support and Contact

For help regarding the SMS Service:

• Reply HELP to any message you receive from us; or

• Contact us at insert phone number or insert support email address.

We do not charge any separate fee for the SMS Service, but your carrier’s standard messaging and data rates may apply.

7. Data Collection and Privacy

By using the SMS Service, you acknowledge that Rimrock Lake Resort will collect and process your mobile number and related information (such as opt‑in status, message logs, and timestamps) to operate the SMS Service, in accordance with our Privacy Policy located at https://rimrocklakeresort.com/privacy . We do not sell or share your mobile number or SMS opt‑in data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Any sharing with service providers is solely to deliver and support the SMS Service under appropriate confidentiality safeguards.
